Your Views – A proactive way forward.

As the election campaign has continued, the last few weeks have been more than interesting as we’ve listened and learnt from the good people of Spennymoor.

It is very important to us, that in order to make the right decisions that you have and are electing people to make, that we can take you with us by giving you allcropped-logo.png the information you rightly should know.

We’d like to move the process forward by asking you to complete our poll below.

Of course the job of the town council is also to be open and transparent but you only see that from the view of the majority, which is on many occasions is just the views of the Labour party.

We’d like to inform you about the work we do in and for the community. Consult with you on important matters before we vote in the chamber and inform you what we have tried to do when things are brought to council at the last minute. This blog has been an amazing success with hundreds of you already engaging with us through comments, emails and phone calls.

This election campaign, Alan has trialled writing personally addressed letters to over 500 households. Delivered open, collaborative letters with town councillors to over 800 households. We like to know what you think and if you would like this to become a continued part of the Spennymoor Independents engagement with you.

We appreciate that we can not be in all places, all of the time so your views, your engagement with us is essential. Please complete the poll. If you have any other ideas, please feel free to write in the comment box below the poll.
